Brevetti Insoliti: esplorando l’eccentricità dell’Innovazione
30 Maggio 2024Guida la tua impresa verso l’Innovazione con t2i
31 Maggio 2024Innovation doesn’t always lead to astonishing solutions, but in the world of patents, we find inventions ranging from eccentric to fantastic, from unusual to bizarre.
You don’t necessarily need to be an engineer to be an inventor. Patented creations vary across sectors, technologies, and fields of application, demonstrating that human creativity knows no bounds.
A patent is granted if the proposed solution is NEW and INVENTIVE, but it doesn’t necessarily have to be useful or appreciated by the market.
This opens the door to a myriad of unusual and curious inventions, which often remain in the realm of the fantastic rather than becoming part of our daily lives.
Which of these patents captures your curiosity the most?
Patent US5983411A: The Aquarium-Toilet. A toilet-aquarium that allows you to have your fish collection in a “space-saving” solution, where the fish aren’t flushed away with the first flush, but live peacefully (perhaps) in a two-in-one object.
Patent US3216423A: A Device to Facilitate Childbirth via Centrifugal Force! The idea was considered quite controversial and never found practical application. Do you think it was designed by a woman or a man?
Patent US3150641: A Dust Cover for Dogs. If you have a dog, you might understand why this invention found little market application.
Patent US5996127: A Wearable Device for Feeding and Observing Birds and Other Flying Animals.
Bird watchers, let us know your thoughts.
Patent US6659840B2: A Doll Set to Simulate a Universal Beauty Pageant, which includes a plurality of female dolls and descriptive cards. Will there be a male version too?
There are many more!
